* We had laptop problems today and not everyone was able to call back up their speeches they wrote last week.  I’m going to spend this afternoon looking for them and will help them tomorrow if I am unable to find them.  If you would like to write it out with them tonight based on what they remember, that is fine too.  Sorry!! Our goal is to have something by tomorrow afternoon that they can practice for Thursday and Friday.

Homework:

1) Read 20 min. – be ready to write a Say Something Starter in your

reading response journal tomorrow morning about what you read.

Homework:

1) Costume for speeches on Thursday or Friday — please do NOT feel like you have to buy anything!  Be creative!  Homemmade is good – and shows clever thinking!

2) Finish writing biography speech/practice your speech

**If you do NOT have enough info, you MUST do your own research on

your person this weekend.   (Speeches must last 3-5 minutes)

* Speeches will be given on Thursday and Friday afternoons of next week.  April 12th and 13th 1:10pm-2:45pm.  I will post a list of who is going on which day by Monday. Parents are welcome!

Kaichen – none – brush up your math facts

** Everyone got their biography note catcher back today.  They should check off the information they have collected that matches the rubric for the speech assignment to see what they still need to research.  This should be done by Wed. because they will have time on Wed. and Thurs. of this week to work on them in class.  Please bring your materials for Wed.!!
